The students of the department have been encouraged to undergo varieties of learning-beyond-curriculum courses for enhancing their knowledge through different club and professional society activities. These club members are guided by designated members of faculty and meet once in a week to hold discussions on topics of their domain beyond the university curriculum. These clubs act as excellent platform to enrich their knowledge and fortify their skills through involvement in “learn with fun”. The students are actively engaged in innovative thinking and ideation on problems, academic challenges and new domains of knowledge through Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell (IEDC) funded by DST, Govt. of India.The Faculties & Students of the Department acquiring the knowledge in modern trend of engineering survey by GPS, DGPS, Total Station, Aerial photogrammetry by drone, CIVIL 3D, STAAD PRO, etc. on special training courses. The targeted objective of such kind of student involvements is to trigger their innovative idea, boost their creative thinking and broaden their visualization in domain of application. Recently few student members of the Pyramid Club conducted research work whose outcome was highlighted and published as technical paper in national & international journals. Now, there are two groups of Pyramid Club members are actively working on following projects.
