Millions of students graduating out of India’s engineering colleges run the risk of being unemployed, others take jobs well below their technical qualifications in a market where there are few jobs for India’s overflowing technical talent pool. Hiring is slowing down because recruiters are changing their strategy. An engineering degree has become a poor proxy for one’s education and employment skills.

Recruiters visiting engineering colleges seek for candidates who are ready for the industry and have the etiquette necessary for the corporate world.

The only solution to this problem is TRAINING. Training the students in the right direction, by the right process, is the call of the day.

Keeping all these facts in view, the Training & Placement department of TAT leaves no stone unturned to impart the best possible training to our students to make them corporate ready. TAT designs industrial training programs after proper assessment or Training Need Analysis.

Training is made possible through:

Keeping in view the industry requirements, the training curriculum is designed to equip the students with relevant technologies and conceptualized professional skills.

  • PART-1(Problem Solving Techniques): From the 2nd year onwards a comprehensive problem-solving techniques upon Data Structures & Algorithm is imparted to candidates of B.Tech. & MCA.  Post-completion of the module, their aptitude & programming competence are evaluated over an online assessment and segregated into separate groups for the training in a specific technology.
  • PART-2(Technology Specific) Bootcamp model: Based on the above grading system & group segregations candidates are trained in a Boot camp model on 4 specific technologies i.e., technical tracks on Python & Data Science,  Java full-stack, Android/React & NodeJS Developer & Web Developer.
  • PART-3(Project Mentoring by Industry experts):  In the 3rd Year after completing their technology-specific training candidates are diverted to project mentoring sessions where the candidates are given real-time problem topics and are guided by the industry experts for completion & final submission of their prototype.
  • PART-4(Internships- Industry Exposures): Post-completion of the project, Candidates are allowed to intern with our partnered companies to gain further exposure and PPOs based on performance.

Developing young minds in their specific domains is the core objective achieved through department specific training. Modules taught to students are aimed at empowering them with add-on skills apart from their regular curriculum, thereby boosting their career profile.
