IoT and WSN
A first of its kind dedicated IoT–WSN Lab was setup at Trident Academy of Technology as a flagship project out of special interest of our Chief Mentor, Mr. B. B. Panigrahi of the TGI to promote research and consultancy services in the upcoming field of sensor technology application IoT and WSN. The ARG promotes and encourages research and consultancy in verities of wireless sensor networks application area covering variety of systems, networking and data management issues in data-centric sensor networks. The ARG’s focus is on building scalable energy-efficient sensor networks through the use of heterogeneous sensor modalities, sensor platforms, processors and technologies. In recent years there has been a growing interest in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN). Mobile communications and wireless networking technology has seen a thriving development in recent years. Recent advancements in the field of sensing, computing and communications have attracted research efforts and huge investments from various segments in the field of WSN. In this direction, Trident Research is no exception. Trident Research is adequately geared up to meet the research challenges in the field of WSN since WSN has gained world-wide attention in recent years, particularly due to the proliferation of Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) Technology – a key technology for the development of Smart Sensors.
