UDAYAN is the name chosen for the Technical Festival (TechFest) in Trident campus. This is completely separate from TRIFEST and is celebrated much ahead of the TRIFEST and is open to all other colleges of Odisha. The primary objective of celebrating “UDAYAN” in the campus is to offer a platform for display of the potentials of Trident students in the technology, innovation leadership and organization. Several competitions are organized where guest students from other institutions also take part and prizes are awarded. Through this function, the students not only compete amongst themselves, they also get a chance to compete with their peers of other colleges in a homely atmosphere. This has indeed encouraged Trident students to gain in confidence and competitive spirit which have enabled them to bag several prizes outside the college in similar technical festivals.
