Keeping in view a paradigm shift in the current scenario, the Department of Mechanical Engineering adopts cutting-edge technology for enriching technical education and research and instills work culture in the minds of students. The department is equipped with highly qualified and experienced faculty members with high morale who are committed to the all-round development of the students. Around 600 departmental alumni, till date, are highly placed in Government, Non-Government, PSUs and Corporate Organizations such as TATA Group, Adani Group, L&T, Jindal, Maruti, Godrej & Boyce, Mahindra & Mahindra, Cummins, Kirloskar, Cognizant, Infosys, etc. Besides, many students are pursuing higher studies like M.Tech, PhD and MBA in reputed institutes such as IITs, NITs, IISc and IIMs.

The department has a proven track record in preparing students for placements through Aptitude, Reasoning, mock Group Discussions and Personal Interviews. The department is well equipped with modern laboratories such as Fluid Mechanics, Hydraulic Machines, Material Testing, IC Engine, HVAC, CAD/CAM/CAE, CNC, Robotics, EV Technology, Engineering Graphics and Workshop Practice. These facilities provide students with a strong practical base for academic activities and research work. The department library supports learning through both print and digital resources, offering access to scholarly journals and other academic materials. Extracurricular activities, technical clubs and industry visits also play a vital role in helping students enhance their knowledge, skills and leadership qualities.
